Snitch
detects Adult Images on your computer
Snitch incorporates a 'smart' algorithm designed to scan all images
in the target range and to prioritize them according to their 'suspiciousness'.
An adult image usually exhibits characteristic tones
and distribution that allow identification above other normal images.
Although any image analysis method that attempts to separate adult
images from standard images invariably classifies some images incorrectly,
the algorithm used by Snitch is quite effective, and usually a computer
that contains 'dirty pictures' will show obscene or indecent pictures
in the first page of image results. This allows the user to quickly
assess whether the target computer requires further inspection.
Using a range of techniques including color matching, tone gradients,
plus grid functions which check for tonal dispersion and distribution,
as well as adjusting for contrast and exposure faults, Snitch parental controls software can
sort adult images with a reasonable degree of accuracy, while reducing
false positives.
Because some other image types share the characteristics that dirty
pictures do, sometimes the search algorithm classes them both
as indecent. Consider the following case - a closeup of a woman's
face in a portrait would be very difficult to classify differently
from a closeup of a woman's face in a pornographic image. It is
for this reason that portraits and other pictures with substantial
portions of bare skin can sometimes be improperly classed as a porn
image. However, the image results in Snitch are presented in such
a manner that if any porn images exist then they will appear very
early in the results, and can therefore be quickly assessed by the
user of the program. Download a free parental control software demo NOW.
