About the Snitch Version 2.0 Trial Version
The Snitch Trial Version is a combined trial for two products, Snitch standard version and Snitch for Enterprise use. When running the software for the first time you will be prompted to select the version you would like to evaluate.

Personal users should select the Home Use option when running Snitch for the first time.

Enterprise customers should select the Enterprise option, to allow evaluation of some of the special features available in the enterprise products. More information about the enterprise solutions and the features they contain, click here.

Downloading the Trial Edition
If you are new to downloading, please follow these simple steps to download Snitch onto your computer. If you are an experienced user, you will find that downloading Snitch parental controls works much the same as downloading other software.

Follow these steps:

1) Start the file downloading
Click the above link and a box will pop up, asking you where you would like to put the downloaded installation file. The dialog will ask if you would like to 'Open the file..' or 'Save to Disk'. Select 'Save to Disk' to copy this file from our server to your computer.

2) Select a Location
You must specify a location on your computer that the file will be saved to. You can select your Desktop for simplicity, or you may wish to save the file to a 'Downloads' directory, for example.

3) Run the installation file
Wait until downloading is complete, which could take 10 seconds - 1 hour depending on your internet connection type / modem speed. Then, to install Snitch onto your computer, run the file that you have just downloaded, by double clicking on the file 'SnitchInstall.exe' on your desktop.

4) What to do if the download fails
Don't worry if the download is interrupted for some reason, simply start the download again, by clicking on the download link again. If you choose to put the file in the same place, you can overwrite the aborted file fragment and continue downloading.
